Reduced carbon footprint

Made from domestically grown, renewable resources such as soybeans, bio-based fluid performs considerably better than mineral oil. According to the latest BEES report, mineral oil produces 56 times more carbon emissions than does the soybean-based transformer fluid tested. Not only does the production of soy-based transformer fluid require less energy usage, but CO2 absorption during the growing period for soy plants also contributes to the sequestering of carbon emissions—actually removing CO2 from the atmosphere and serving as a form of carbon offset.
